Frontal Guide

Frontals are high maintenance hairstyles, Here you will find all the information needed to make the most out of your frontal.

What is a lace frontal?

A frontal is a hair piece that encloses your head. Similar to a closure, but different in that a frontal covers the entire front of your head/hairline. With a frontal, you can pull your hair into a high bun or ponytail with no problem and with it looking amazingly natural, like your real hair.

How do I apply/reglue my frontal?

  1. Lift your lace slightly/fold your lace back slightly behind your hairline.

  2. Use a make up wipe to clean any excess debris or make up.

  3. Aply Got2Be gel from ear to ear. Allow it to dry for a few seconds in order for it to get tacky.

  4. Gently place the lace frontal down, where the glue has been applied. Use a metal tailed comb to gently apply pressure to secure the frontal down.

  5. For extra security: use a silk scarf or a blow dryer to dry the lace.

How do I maintain my lace frontal?

Use the Right Products

- We recommend any of the Got2Be products. For a stronger lasting hold, Boldhold tape or Ghost Bond glue.

Wash Carefully

- Regularly wash your frontal with warm water and shampoo/conditioner (minimal amount) to remove make up and a build up of glue.

Wrap It Up

- You should invest in a satin/silk cap or a satin/silk pillow case. Not only will it enable you to sleep without the worry of tangles or breakage, but you will also maintain the moisture that cotton made pillow cases strip from your hair.

Lace frontal shedding is very normal, as with any high maintenance look, they need regular maintenance. Avoid itching and scratching and excessive combing or putting pressure on your parting.
